BACKGROUND
Steve received his B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley in 1975. After completing some graduate work at both UCLA and USC, Steve began a career in the food industry. Over the past three decades, he has divided his time between sales and marketing roles for various manufacturers and advertising/marketing communications agencies. This has allowed him to cover the gamut of production, sales, distribution systems, and channel strategies. As Chief Steward of S&A, Steve guides the company according to its five core values.
 
STRENGTHS
Steve’s firsthand knowledge of field sales operations and intuitive marketing insight from the client’s view has helped him to forge insightful, but realistic, strategies for a wide range of food industry marketers. Strategic analysis and planning, as well as strategy engineering and implementation, are his chief passions. In meeting his client’s objectives, Steve unites his methodical approach to the competitive need to be successfully positioned in rapidly changing markets.
